If you're looking to find out where to watch and stream the Italian MotoGP 2023 round, you've come to the right place!
MotoGP continues its European tour after a four-week break since the previous round in France. MotoGP's record-equalling 2023 season continues at Mugello for the Italian Grand Prix later this week!
Motorcycle racing is extremely popular in Italy and this is reflected in the Italian and San Marino Grands Prix on the 2023 calendar. Mugello is one of the cornerstone venues of MotoGP racing.
As Italy is in Europe, the session times are what you'd expect for a European round. This could make it tricky for viewers in North America and Australia though, so here's everything you need to know about the 2023 Italian MotoGP sessions.
Where to watch & stream Italian MotoGP 2023
Italy is home to some of the most passionate motorsport fans in the world that always make an atmosphere to remember. Some of the best riders in MotoGP history call Italy home, including both Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini.
We can't forget about the manufacturers either, as MV Agusta, Aprilia and Ducati all hail from Italy.
The Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix dates back to 1949 and has been hosted at Mugello every year since 1994. Misano, Monza and Imola have all also hosted the Italian GP, but it's now found a permanent home in Tuscany.
When it comes to the most successful riders at the Italian MotoGP, some very familiar names are at the top of the leaderboard. If we only count top-level victories, Rossi has the most with seven.
Ago claimed 13 victories in Italy, but only six were in the top tier (500cc). Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan are the top non-Italians at Mugello with six wins each.
Interestingly, there are no repeat winners on the current grid, but Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo and Danilo Petrucci are the most recent riders to stand on the top step.
But where can you watch and stream the Italian MotoGP 2023? Let's find out!
UK
We'll begin with the UK, where all sessions will be shown live on BT Sport. BT Sport is the only channel to see all sessions of the 2023 season live in the UK.
With Italy only being an hour ahead of the UK's time zone, session times are very sociable for this race. Here's the full list:
- Practice 1: 9:45 - 10:30, Friday 9 June
- Practice 2: 14:00 - 15:00, 9 June
- Free Practice & Qualifying: 9:10 - 10:30, Saturday 10 June

You'll also be able to catch the race live for free on ITV1 from 12:30 pm. ITV usually only has highlights, but the Italian MotoGP will be shown live this year.
USA
MotoGP coverage in the United States is on NBC. Unfortunately, only the Americas GP is shown live on NBC in the USA in 2023, so you'll need to catch the Italian GP at a later time.
However, with the race starting at 8 am on the east coast and 5 am on the west coast, this isn't such a bad thing. Other sessions including the sprint race and qualifying won't be shown on TV in the USA.
The Italian GP will be shown on CNBC at 1:30 pm Eastern time on Sunday 11 June.
Australia
Australian MotoGP fans will need to be up very late to catch the Italian Grand Prix live. While it's not as bad as some rounds, a 10 pm start time for the race on the east coast isn't an easy watch.
The FOX network will be covering the 2023 MotoGP live in Australia.
All times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC +10).
