MotoGP 23 Misano

MotoGP 23 Misano

If you're looking to find out where to watch and stream the San Marino MotoGP 2023 round, you've come to the right place!

MotoGP ends its mid-season European tour with back-to-back rounds of the Catalan and San Marino Motorcycle Grands Prix. Round 12 of the 2023 MotoGP season takes us to Misano for the San Marino GP.

Just like we did for the previous rounds in Argentina, the USA, Spain, France, Italy, Britain, Austria and Catalonia we're showing you where to watch and stream the 2023 San Marino Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Italy sits on the Central European Time Zone, so the session times are what you'd expect for a European round. This could make it tricky for viewers in North America and Australia though, so here's everything you need to know about the 2023 San Marino MotoGP sessions.

Motorcycle racing in Italy is like a second religion for the country. That's reflected in their representation on the 2023 MotoGP calendar, as Italy has two rounds on the calendar, with the other being the Italian GP.

To avoid any confusion, this race doesn't take place in San Marino, that is just the name of the Grand Prix. Misano is located in Italy, near to the country of San Marino, with the closest major cities being Bologna and Florence.

The San Marino Motorcycle Grand Prix dates back to 1981 and ran until 1987, with rounds also in 91 and 93. Mugello, Imola and Misano have all hosted this round, but Misano has done so consistently since it returned in 2007.

When it comes to the most successful riders at the San Marino MotoGP, the legends you'd expect to appear are present. Three riders have won three MotoGP races here, with Valentino Rossi the sole home rider amongst them.

Spaniards Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez have also completed a hat-trick of victories in Misano over the years. Francesco Bagnaia has won here in the past two years, but he won't be involved after a horror-crash in Barcelona.

The only other winner on the current grid is Franco Morbidelli in 2020. The other multiple winners are Eddie Lawson and Randy Mamola, each with a pair of wins in the 1980s.

USA

MotoGP coverage in the United States is on NBC. Unfortunately, only the Americas GP is shown live on NBC in the USA in 2023, so you'll need to catch the San Marino GP at a later time if you're based in the states

However, with the race starting at 8 am on the east coast and 5 am on the west coast, this isn't such a bad thing. Other sessions including the sprint race and qualifying won't be shown on TV in the USA.

The San Marino GP will be shown on NBC at 1 pm Eastern time on Sunday 10 September.
