Williams 800th Race Livery Hits F1 23

F1 23 hasn't even been out for a month yet and we are getting inundated with new liveries. Following the McLaren Triple Crown livery and Red Bull's Miami one, Williams' beautiful celebration livery that will run at the British Grand Prix this weekend is going to hit the Formula 1 game.

Like the previous special liveries, it will be a time-limited event. While FOMO is always a frustrating mechanic in games, we won't begrudge Codemasters using it for these one-offs, especially when they are as beautiful as this one.

Williams celebrates 800 races

While their glory years are a long way behind them now, Williams is still one of the most successful Formula 1 teams ever. Boasting nine World Constructors' Championships and seven World Drivers' Championships, the Grove-based team is an icon of motorsport.

It just so happens that the team's 800th race will be its home Grand Prix at Silverstone, about 45 minutes north of the Oxfordshire factory. To celebrate the occasion they have crafted a sensational livery that merges the Union Jack with their current look.

Just like McLaren and Red Bull before them, this livery will enter F1 23 too.

How to get the Williams 800th race livery

It couldn't be easier to get the livery. All you have to do is log in. That's it. You don't need the VIP Podium Pass or even to beat a challenge.

While there is a British GP challenge currently in F1 World to celebrate the race this weekend, you don't have to do it to get the livery. Just log into the game from 10-23 July and you'll get the livery.

These liveries are usually given out to everyone when the time limit passes, so don't expect to be racing with it next week!

Of course, this raises the question of if we will get the McLaren Chrome livery in F1 23. Not to mention that Aston Martin has also got a new sponsor and tweaked their livery. It's a busy time for the painters at Codemasters, but their willingness to use F1 World as a tool for dropping these beautiful designs into the game is much appreciated by fans.
