Despite most developers starting to wind down for the year, things are firing up over at Kunos Simulazioni. January 2024 will see the release of the Assetto Corsa Competizione GT2 Pack DLC release, adding new cars to an already impressive car list.
We’ve now had our first look at these new cars, so let’s take a look at what’s coming to Assetto Corsa Competizione in early 2024.
Perfect Porsche
Assetto Corsa Competizione’s GT2 Pack DLC brings some exciting track racers to the game, kicking off with Porsche. The Porsche 935 is a hypercar unlike any other car available.
An updated version of the original 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans runner-up, only 77 units were built in 2019. This makes the 935 as rare as it is incredibly fun to drive and is a must for anyone looking for a challenging track car to take for a spin.
The other new Porsche available in the GT2 Pack DLC is the 911 GT2 RS CS EVO Kit. Part of the legendary Porsche 911 family, the EVO Kit takes a regular 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and dials everything up to 11.
The EVO Kit additions add a revised front splitter, enlarged side skirts, and a larger rear wing to boost the aerodynamic performance. An improved suspension system, along with upgraded safety features, make the 911 GT2 RS CS EVO Kit an unbeatable contender around any track.
These two perfect Porsches are just part of the GT2 Pack DLC coming to Assetto Corsa Competizione in January 2024, but an exact release date has yet to be confirmed. Soon there will be a new track to truly test them on as well.
Enter the Nordschleife
After strong rumours of the track’s impending addition, Kunos Simulazioni has finally confirmed that the Nordschleife will arrive in Assetto Corsa Competizione in 2024.
Located at the Nurburgring, the Nordschleife, or The Green Hell, is one of the most intimidating circuits in the world. With an average lap time taking at least seven minutes, you need to be at your very best to negotiate your way around this gruelling test of ability.
The Nordschleife will be joining Assetto Corsa Competizione’s track list in Spring 2024. This coincides with the 2024 Nurburgring 24 Hours race and will be released as part of the Season 2024 GT World Challenge DLC pack.
The Season 2024 GT World Challenge DLC Pack will be available on both PC and console.
