The Crew Motorfest isn't a free-to-play game, but publishers Ubisoft have confirmed that there is a way to play for free on its release day. So, how is this possible? And what are the terms of this deal?
We've got everything you need to know about The Crew Motorfest's free version right here!
The Crew Motorfest: How to play for free
Gamesom's opening night has been a very good one for The Crew players. Ubisoft revealed a new trailer as well as detailing what is included in The Crew Motorfest's Gold and Ultimate Editions.
On top of this, details of the first Year 1 pass cars have been confirmed too. Arguably the biggest announcement though is that of The Crew Motorfest's free trial.
Between the 14th and 17th September, gamers will be able to play The Crew Motorfest for absolutely free. There's a five-hour time limit, but that's a good chance to try the game with no obligations before deciding whether to buy.
If you hadn't been chosen for The Crew Motorfest's Insider Program, this will be your first opportunity to play Motorfest for free.
Motorfest free trial & early access
If you decide to purchase the full game, everything you've done during your allotted five hours will carry over. If you purchase the Gold or Ultimate edition of Motorfest, you'll be able to play three days earlier from 11th September.
Events that are themed around "American Muscle Power" will be available on the game's Main Stage from 11th September.
Those that purchase either of the higher versions of the game will also gain full access to Motorfest's Year One Pass.
An Ultimate Edition exclusive is the Ultimate Pack, which has 25 cars that begin with the Dodge Charger SRT, Hellcat Redeye Wideboy, BMW M4 Competition Coupe and Chevrolet Chevelle SS.
