It should come as no surprise that we're huge fans of F1 2021 here in the RacingGames.
Now, it seems players will be able to have a go at racing on the phenomenal title for free for a short time.
As always, there's a bit of a catch, but let's take a closer look now!
F1 2021 for free
That's right, this isn't a prank, the title is actually free thanks to Xbox's Free Play Days until 24 October at 11:59 pm PDT.
How do you jump in and enjoy the game yourself? Well, you have to have either an Xbox Live Gold membership or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
If you tick one of those boxes, this means you'll be able to head to Xbox.com, or the Microsoft Store, and get the game downloading.
Discounts
Now, the game will only be free for a certain amount of time. However, don't fear, as soon after that the game will also be discounted.
For F1 2021, this means that there will be a whopping 35% off the game through the Microsoft Store.
As such, the game will be just $38.99 as opposed to the standard $59.99. The Deluxe Edition is also 35% off, at $48.74, and for those with the standard edition already, the Upgrade Pack is now just $12.99.
F1 2021
The game itself doesn't need much of a sell, as the title is incredible. With new physics, up-to-date grids for F1 and now F2 as well, and even frequently updated driver stats, the game is certainly current.
F1 2021 also boasts an awesome mode in the form of Braking Point. This sees you, as Aiden Jackson, making your way through your first seasons as an F1 driver.
Finally, F1 Esports. This sees the best drivers worldwide compete for a whopping $750,000 prize pot, with the racing closer and faster than ever. In fact, qualifying is often separated by less than a second from first to last.
