Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 Summer: Hot Wheels rewards, challenges, cars & more


It's time for a new Series, and with the Series 9 update landing it is time for Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 Summer!

Series 9 is all about Hot Wheels, as the Mexico adventure gears up for the first expansion pack.

What can you win this week? Let's take a look.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 Summer

The new Series, and it's Summer season, starts on Thursday 23 June at 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET.

With it comes brand new cars to the game, and some awesome rewards.

Season reward cars

This week you can get the Hot Wheels 2JetZ for 20 points, and the Lamborghini Aventador J for 40 points.

The Hot Wheels car is exclusive to Series 9 Summer so don't miss your chance to get it!

Remember, these points also count toward the Series Progress cars. You can get the Hot Wheels Twin Mill at 80 points and the Ferrari Dino at 160 points.

But what else is there for players to do in the Summer heat?

Challenges & rewards

This week you can get the Corvette '70 for completing The Trial and the Penhall Cholla for completing the EventLab.

The Seasonal Championships offer three cars for players to win. Swamp Rally gets you the Dodge Charger '15, Asphalt Assault wins you the Plymouth Cuda. Finally Thrill Racers gets you the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker!

There are also three Super Wheelspins to be won for completing the Danger Sign, Speed Trap, and Trail Blazer challenges.

Photo Challenge

This week's Photo Challenge is #MudRunner. You have to grab a snap of any Hot Hatch at the Horizon Wilds Outpost.

Treasure Hunt

This week's Treasure Hunt will get you 100 Forzathon points along with thee seasonal points and is called Flying Customs.

The clue is "Stingrays can fly? Get your coins ready to get up high for a round complete!"
