Forza Horizon 5 improves on its predecessor in so many ways. If you're looking to quickly add to your car collection, there's a much quicker method than going through the autoshow now!
Here's the best way to buy cars quickly in Forza Horizon 5.
The autoshow and auction house experience
Buying cars through the Forza Horizon autoshow has always been clunky. With so many button presses and needing to confirm your choice of colour or design every time, it sometimes felt like more hassle than it was worth. You also had to return to the festival site every time just to buy another car!
The auction house is sometimes a cheaper way of picking up autoshow cars, but you can run into problems there too. The car mastery has often already been bought. This means that those skill points you've been earning can't buy you the extra wheelspins or bonuses. It can also be a frustrating experience, with late buyouts and sniping. Many players aren't trying to save every last credit they can in the game but just to collect the cars they want. The auction house can be useful, but it's not the best solution every time.
The quicker way to buy cars in Forza Horizon 5
New for the latest game, Forza Horizon 5 has a "stickerbook" view. Open the menu and go to Car Collection and you can see your cars at a glance. It's so easy to quickly see where you can acquire a car from, or just buy it straight away!
You no longer have to go through the faff of choosing the colour or design. It will save you a huge amount of time if you want to know which cars you need to complete your collection of a manufacturer, or if you're buying several cars at once. You can also find out which accolade you need to win the car you want.
You can simply press Y on the Xbox or the appropriate key to purchase if you're on PC. There's also now a bonus for each manufacturer you complete! These are often Forzathon or XP points but can be wheelspins or even free cars.
