This week's trio of Sport Mode races include two short course races and two races involving pit stops, a rarity for Sport Mode. While there is no tuning challenge this week, there is still plenty for players to sink their teeth into.

Race A

Watkins Glen - Short Course - 6 Laps

The first race of the day takes us to the Watkins Glen short course for six laps in the awesome Nissan R34 GT-R V-spec II Nur '02.

The 12-car field will use a grid start to get the race underway, and everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre.

There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear in this race.

You cannot tune your R34 in this race. Everyone will use a mid-speed BoP to keep the race balanced. DR is switched off here, but SR is still tracking so keep your racing clean.

There is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars.

Race B

Brands Hatch - Indy - 10 laps

The second race this week is another short course blast as we take on the Indy Circuit of Brands Hatch for 10 laps in Gr.4 cars.

The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so be sure to get a qualifying lap in to avoid being right at the back. Each car will use Racing Hard tyres for this race.

There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear in this one.

Each car will use a low-speed BoP in this race. Players are permitted to make partial suspension and differential changes, as well as to adjust brake balance.

Both DR and SR are switched on for this race and there is a mandatory pitstop. Given the lack of other compounds to use pitting at the end of lap 5 is the most sensible strategy.

There is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars. There is also a penalty for cutting the pitlane lines so be sure to remain on the correct side when entering and exiting the pits.

Race C

Deep Forest - Reverse - 14 laps

The final race this week is 14 laps around the reverse Deep Forest track in Gr.3 cars.

The 16-car field will use a rolling start so again qualifying is extremely important. Players must use both the Racing Hard and Racing Medium compounds in this race. There is 2x fuel consumption and 7x tyre wear here as well.
