As September arrives Gran Turismo 7 is still going strong with the GT7 Daily Races. These Sport Mode events put drivers to the test in online play against one another across pre-set races.

This week

Race A

Watkins Glen - Short Course - 7 laps

This week's unranked race sees players head to the wonderful Watkins Glen for seven laps around the short course in the Jaguar XJ220 '92. This race will have a field of 12 competitors using a grid start, and everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre.

There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for this race.

Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP for this race, so there's no tuning required. Your performance in this race will not impact DR & SR.

There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.

Race B

Suzuka - 5 laps

The first ranked race takes us to Suzuka for five laps of Gr.3 racing. The field of 16 will use a rolling start, so be sure to get some qualifying laps in. Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for this event.

Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. Your performance in this race will impact DR & SR.

There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.

Race C

Autopolis - 10 laps

The final race of the week takes players to Autopolis for 10 laps of Gr.4 racing. This race will have a 16-car field using a rolling start, so again qualifying will be important.

There is no mandatory pit stop in this race but there is 7x fuel consumption and 1x tyre wear so it will almost certainly be faster to stop and re-fuel rather than try to eke out a no-stop strategy.

Drivers must use the Racing Hard tyre, but the Racing Medium is also available if you do stop.

Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. Your performance in this race will impact DR & SR.

There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions. If you do opt to pit be aware there is a pit lane line cutting penalty so be sure to stay on the correct side of the line!
