The new year continues with a strong week in Sport Mode for Gran Turismo 7 racers.
This week's set of GT7 Daily Races takes us around the world and offers some classic Gran Turismo challenges that will test casuals and competitive racers alike.
Race A
Tsukuba - 5 laps
This week kicks off with an awesome first race at Tsukuba. Players will be doing five laps around this awesome short circuit in the Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) '08.
Everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 12-car field will use a grid start.
Each car will use a low-speed BoP, with no further adjustments allowed. DR is off for this race, but SR is on as Polyphony continues the trend of making Race A only half-ranked.
There is light mechanical damage in this race, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Dragon Trail - Seaside - 4 laps
Next up is a trip to the Death Chicane at Dragon Trail Seaside for a four-lap race in Gr.4 cars.
Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre in this one, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so be sure to get a qualifying lap in or you'll be way behind the leader with little hope of victory.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. Both DR & SR will be impacted by your racing in this event.
There is light mechanical damage in this race, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race C
Daytona - Road Course - 10 laps
The final race this week is a Gran Turismo classic. 10 laps at the Daytona Road Course in Gr.3 cars.
This race features 4x tyre wear and 4x fuel consumption and includes a mandatory pitstop. The Racing Hard tyre is the only permitted compound though, so there isn't much strategy to be found here.
Everyone will be using a high-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. DR & SR will both be on for this race.
There is light mechanical damage in this race, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars. There is also a penalty for cutting the pit lane lines so be sure you are on the correct side when you enter and exit the pits.
