GT7 Daily Races 9 January: Alpine racing


Monday is here again, which means a new set of GT7 Daily Races 9 January has hit Sport Mode.

Polyphony is starting the new year strong on Gran Turismo 7. There has been confirmation that GT7 will get PSVR 2 support and they keep the hits coming in Sport Mode!

Let's take a look at this week's races.

Race A

Sardegna - Road Track C - 6 laps

Race A is once again unranked. It's a single-make race too, forcing players to use the Alpine A110 '17 for this six-lap race at Sardegna.

There is a grid start for this 12-car field while there is 1x fuel consumption and 1x tyre wear.

You will be on the Sports Soft tyre with a low-speed BoP. Light mechanical damage is on, and there are light shortcut penalties along with penalties for collisions.

Race B

Alsace - Village Reverse - 4 laps

The first ranked race of the week puts you in Gr.3 cars around the Alsace Village course.

You will be on the Racing Medium tyres with 1x fuel consumption & 1x tyre wear. The 16-car field will use a rolling start too, so be sure to qualify!

A low-speed BoP will be applied and there is light mechanical damage in this race.

There are also light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.

Race C

Autopolis - 12 laps

The final race of this week is an absolute banger. We're in Gr.2 cars for 12 laps of Autopolis.

The Racing Medium and Racing Soft are mandatory tyre compounds, meaning you have to make a pitstop in this race.

There is also 2x fuel consumption and 4x tyre wear to worry about.

A mid-speed BoP is applied, and there is light mechanical damage in this race.

There is also light shortcut penalties and collision penalties, as well as a penalty for pitlane line cutting.
