The Gran Turismo games are all about mastering new and unique circuits, here's how to unlock tracks in Gran Turismo 7.
There are 34 locations in Gran Turismo 7, but most are locked away when you start. Here's what you need to do.
How to unlock tracks in Gran Turismo 7
GT7 takes you on a journey through automotive history and culture. It's a fun trip, one that is full of cars you might not normally try in a game like Gran Turismo.
From Japanese compacts to American muscle and European hot hatches, you get to try your hand at a bit of everything.
This is all done through the GT Cafe, which is where you will also unlock tracks in Gran Turismo 7!
The GT Cafe has 39 Menu Books to complete. These involve collecting a trio of cars for each one. These can be done through winning select races or simply buying the cars. We don't recommend the latter though, as credits are hard to come by in GT7.
As you complete Menu Books, more and more circuits will unlock. It starts with the more basic tracks like Goodwood and High Speed Ring, before moving onto the classics like Deep Forest, the Nurburgring, and Daytona.
It will take some grinding to unlock them all, but as you do your garage will grow with gift and reward cars. Your bank balance will also grow, letting you head out and buy cars that you really want to drive.
Is there any shortcut?
Unfortunately, there is no way around this progression system if you want to race freely at every circuit.
However, it's a great journey to take and carefully crafted by Polyphony. It will build your racing ability and car knowledge too.
There are plenty of brief history lessons hidden within Gran Turismo 7 which are lovingly crafted to turn any newbie into a true petrolhead!
