Gran Turismo 7 is a game that we can't wait to play on the PlayStation 5. With that being said though, is GT7 100% confirmed to be happening?
A tale of two consoles
Rumours regarding the next Gran Turismo game really started to pick up momentum before the reveal of the PS5 console. It's no coincidence either that both GT7 and the PS5 were revealed as part of the same presentation back in June 2020.
Both were meant to be released at the same time, but we continued to hear nothing about GT7 for over a year after the reveal trailer. That was until earlier this month, where we saw another GT7 trailer at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase.
At the end of the trailer, we got a release date, 4th March 2022 and official confirmation that GT7 will launch on both the PS4 and PS5 systems.
So, GT7 is 100% happening and will be launched next year!
