Thrustmaster has manufactured a number of great racing wheels over the years, but its T248 looks to be one of the best yet.

Having gone on sale in October 2021 for PlayStation and PC users, Xbox fans have had to wait their turn to get their hands on this wheel and pedal bundle.

Fortunately, the wait is nearly over as the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One version of the T248 is now available to pre-order.

With that being said, here's everything we know about the T248 so far...

With not long left to wait, we'd recommend getting your pre-orders in sooner rather than later to ensure you're not disappointed come release day.

Thrustmaster T248 specs

Thrustmaster boasts its T248 is made from premium materials, with the outer-facing portion of the wheel wrapped in comfortable leather, and includes a next-gen drive system which is said to provide 70% more power than the last Thrustmaster hybrid wheel.

Also, the T248 features nearly twice as many action buttons (25) as its predecessor, including 2 dual-position encoders located on the ends of the wheel’s central spokes.

Thrustmaster has added a selection of more than 20 different displays on its built-in screen, allowing for manual adjustments through the settings including the Force Feedback type, the wheel’s rotation angle, or the user’s choice of telemetry information including the gear ratio, RPM, best lap time, and more.

With that being said, one of the T248's defining features though is its dynamic Force Feedback system. You get 3 types including a pre-set, enhanced for added skid control, and boosted for an even clearer feel of all the racing effects.

Each Force Feedback setting is adjustable on the fly, and you can find out more about what Force Feedback is right here.

To complete the bundle, the Thrustmaster T248 comes with the T3PM magnetic pedal set which allows for 4 pressure modes on the brake pedal.

Thrustmaster also boasts the T3PM pedals offer a completely smooth motion, helping to avoid the loss of precision over time experienced by standard potentiometer-based pedal sets.

Thrustmaster T248 price

Thankfully, this is the same price as the PlayStation version which is no doubt a relief given the wait for the Xbox release.
