Destruction Allstars is now with us, and it's an absolute hit (You could almost say it's turning into another Fall Guys).
To add to the hype, the developers behind the game have promised a whopping year's worth of content, at least!
So, let's take a look at this content for Destruction Allstars and when we can expect it!
One year of content
In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Lucid Games and Sony xDev promised that they already have a plan for the year.
We don't have an awful lot of details, but a year's worth of support sounds great to us.
This likely means that the devs already one year's of updates, new content and potential LTMs ready for us. Whichever it is, it's got us hopeful for the future of the title!
What content will we see?
So, much like Fall Guys, we expect the developers to have a close eye on the community and have some pre-planned updates.
This is the perfect mix of community engagement promising content that we want to play, and regular updates that help freshen up the game frequently as well.
A good example of this would be seasonal events as regular updates, and then LTM modes or limited time prizes in-game.
Even better, in the interview, John McLaughlin of Sony xDev promised that "life services [will] be able to pivot". As such, the devs are open to adjusting the planned content to suit the player's needs.
Destruction Allstars
The game itself is out now on PS5, and we're absolutely loving it here at Racing Games!
With 16 current characters and a plethora of different abilities, we're excited to keep playing.
Add on to that the fact that the game is free on PS Plus and it's a no-brainer. If you've got a PS5 and yet to install the title, we highly recommend going for it now!
