Announced back in August, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is the highly-anticipated successor to Snowrunner. Things have been little quiet since the announcement, but that’s now changed. Expeditions: A MudRunner Game now has a release date, and it’s not too far away.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game puts players in the role of a driver on research expeditions. As you might expect, exploring little-known territory involves traversing rough and rocky terrain, with a host of all-terrain vehicles at your disposal.

For every task, there’s a gadget on one of your vehicles that’s perfect for the job. From drones to view the route from above to scanners to detect any impassable patches, be prepared for anything to happen at a moment’s notice.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is the sequel to Saber Interactive’s SnowRunner. Instead of keeping things in the tundra, however, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game features arid deserts, rocky mountains, and even rugged forests.

Everything about this game looks perfect, and now fans won’t have too long to wait to get stuck into the terrain.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game release date revealed

After a long time with no word on a release date, Saber Interactive has revealed when Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will be hitting the market. Fans can get their hands on the game on 5 March 2024, meaning we are now less than three months from launch.

This is exciting news for fans of the previous MudRunner and SnowRunner games, with the newest entry in the series looking to take things even further to the extreme. You can watch the release date trailer below:

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Store. Pre-orders for the game are now open, so fans can grab the Standard Edition, Year 1 Edition, or Supreme Edition of the game.

Both the Year 1 and Supreme Editions of the game come with additional perks, including a 96-hour early access window before the game launches. This means the game will unlock for those who buy these editions on 2 March 2024.
