Farming Simulator 22 has been officially announced! Alongside new vehicles, we're going to have seasonal changes in-game.
That's right! For the first time in Farming Simulator history, the time of year will change throughout your save. This means you'll have to track what to plant and when.
So, what can we expect from the seasons? We've got everything you need to know right here!
Seasons confirmed
It's been a while in the making, but Farming Simulator finally has season inbound. We've seen these demonstrated since the first announcement trailer.
Players have been calling for seasonal changes to be introduced into FS, and they've got their wish for 22. Previously, players had to install a third-party mod the game for seasons, but developers GIANTS Software have now officially included it from Day 1.
We're going to see a lot of visual changes to how the game looks, but what will change mechanically?
We're going to receive new ways to farm, harvest, and plant crops, as well as a host of new vehicles and storages. So, when the game does launch, there will be plenty for you to explore.
Release date and Platforms
As with each of the Farming Simulator titles, the game's title reflects the year following its release. The same is true with Farming Simulator 22 as well, which launches November 22, 2021.
This lines up well with previous releases, which also tended to drop in the November of the year.
There's no shortage of consoles for FS 22 to be released on either! PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X & One, PC and Stadia will all see the title drop later this year.
We've even seen gameplay now, so take a look at that below!
