McLaren content coming to Free Fire thanks to 'Ace the Field' collaboration

It's not often we see two gaming gaming worlds collide like this, but there is a first for everything of course.

The latest announcement from Garena, the company behind Free Fire, and McLaren, reveals that new, exculsive content is coming to the game.

Let's take a look at what new in-game features and content players can expect now!

Ace the Field

The collaboration comes with a pretty awesome name applicable to both sports, 'Ace the Field', and will bring in-game items, a thematic takeover, and exclusive content to the game.

This even includes the likes of the McLaren P1 and the futuristic MCLFF. This one of a kind prototype vehicle will be available in-game, and has been designed by the McLaren racing design team no less.

Players can expect to use this vehicles in-game the same as any other vehicle, but will simply be able to move around the map in style.

In-game cosmetics

Naturally, much of the in-game content manifests as cosmetics that players can equip their character with.

This means that you can dress your character in a set of awesome racing overalls, fully decked out in the iconic McLaren colours. This even includes the original colour scheme mapped out by Bruce McLaren.

Likewise, other in-game components have new McLaren-themed cosmetic versions. This includes Gloowall skins, surfboards, airships, and emotes inspired by McLaren.

Free Fire with Lando

The final arguably most exciting element of the collaboration is the inclusion of F1 driver Lando Norris.
