We know Codemasters well for bringing to life a number of racing titles that we have come to love, including the world-renowned Formula One games.

Well, now, the team is dipping their feet into the mobile games genre with Racing Master, a new mobile racing game for the masses.

So, let's take a closer look at Racing Master now, and what prospective players can expect from the game!

Racing Master

The latest game comes from a collaboration between the awesome teams at Codemasters and NetEase. Codemasters' phenomenal racing game experience and the mobile game experience of NetEase has led to a phenomenal title.

The game is on Unreal Engine 4, so the title is absolutely stunning. For a mobile game, this is an incredible feature, as mobile games become ever more lifelike.

The game also features a number of real-life manufacturers, and some awesome tracks for players to test out when they get their hands on the game.

Real-life racing

As I mentioned, Racing Master features a variety of of real-life marques such as Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and even the more exotic Koenigsegg.

This means players will be able to grab a number of cars that they see roaming the streets, and put them to the test.

In fact, there are over 100 licensed vehicles in the game so far, so chances are there will be something for you amongst the myriad sets of wheels.

Pocket-sized sim

The other main selling point of the game is the realism that the teams are aiming. This won't just be another arcade pocket racer.

Instead, Codemasters have built the game with their proprietary EGO technology, allowing for realistic handling and performance for each car.

Don't worry however, the game won't be an all-out sim for die-hard sim racers on the go. The game still includes a variety of ways to customise your vehicles, so you can really make it your own.

Release date

The game's first beta test finished earlier this year, allowing the team to start making some changes.

There is one more test for Racing Master later this year, and you can register your interest here!

As such, with the game still in testing, we don't have an exact release date just yet.
