After a decade of waiting, we'll finally be getting a new Superbike video game. SBK 22 will be released later this year and is being developed by Milestone.

Superbikes is one of the most eventful motorcycle racing series out there with some excellent riders. Here's the full list of fully-licenced teams and riders we expect in SBK 22!

Current SBK bike

As we've not seen SBK bikes in video games for a long time, it'd be good to refamiliarise ourselves with them. Superbikes are high-powered sports bikes that are derived from road bike models.

Overview

There are currently five bike manufacturers in the Superbike Championship. These are BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha.

Multiple teams use the same chassis and there are currently 24 full-time riders. There are also a handful of wildcard and replacement riders too, but we don't expect them to make an appearance in SBK 22.
