SnowRunner: 3 best vehicles for Imandra, Kola Peninsula

We're not going to pretend that SnowRunner is an easy game to get to grips with because it isn't. We all need a little help sometimes, especially when starting off. Choosing the correct type of vehicle for the task in hand is a make-or-break decision in SnowRunner.

This is especially true for Imandra in the Kola Peninsula. Imandra forms part of the first DLC which was released for SnowRunner towards the end of 2020. This is arguably the toughest terrain in SnowRunner but here our three picks to get the job done!

3 - Tayga 6436

When in doubt, go Tayga. The Tayga 6436 is probably the best all-round vehicle to choose in SnowRunner. Unsurprisingly, the 6436 is in its element in Imandra and gets our number three spot on this list.

MOVE OR BE MOVED: The 6436 is something that nature fears, not the other way around

The 6436 is brilliant at getting over rocky terrain and deep snow thanks to its large mud tyres and high ride height. Those tyres are also good on ice, which is very useful over the sections of frozen lake and river that you'll be encountering at points during your journey.

A large fuel tank and the ability to pull a trailer that can carry cargo also makes this a fantastic all-round vehicle in Imandra. It's even pretty quick too and will glide along nicely at around 40 mph (65 kph) on flat and even sections of the map.

The only real downside to this truck is that it can struggle to get through very tight passes. Something the next entry on our list has no problem with.

2 - Ford F 750

This pick-up truck was a write-off before a recent update, but that's all changed now. Thanks to an upgraded engine, the Ford F 750 is now ideal to get through the rocky passes of Imandra. Despite its small size, the F 750 can carry a crane on its back, or a long flatbed trailer.

THROUGH THE SMALLEST GAPS: The 750 is amazing at getting you through the tight spots that most struggle through

The F 750 is also extremely versatile and able to get up or down the steepest hills without much trouble. The lightweight frame of the F 750 also comes in handy over the sections of frozen river that you'll have to cross to make good time in Imandra.

Make sure that the engine and tyres are suitably upgraded, otherwise you'll struggle through deep snow and with fuel consumption.

1 - TUZ 108 "Warthog"

Another vehicle that's on the small side that's in its element in Imandra is the TUZ 108 "Warthog". The active suspension is probably the Warthog's biggest selling point, as you can switch its ride height at the push of a button. Its small size will allow it to get through the smallest gaps, just like the F 750.

Unlike the F 750, though, the 108 is handy over the bumps and can haul large loads. The Warthog does struggle over the large rocks though, as the tyres aren't as big as some of the other alternatives. Although, smaller tyres do lead to faster speeds, which can be achieved on the flatter sections of the map.

It's also important to note that the Warthog is extremely good at tackling steep uphill and downhill gradients, making it the ideal choice to traverse a dangerous mountainous path.
