Since Art of Rally made its console debut last year, Funselektor’s Dune Casu has been working hard on updates. The next update for the indie rally game will add a new location set in Indonesia.
After the update was teased over the last few months, Funselektor has confirmed the release date and shared more details about the much-anticipated Art of Rally Indonesia update.
Art of Rally Indonesia update arriving on PC this month
As confirmed in a Twitter update by indie publisher Future Friends Games Art of Rally’s Indonesia update will feature six new tropical rally stages. From the teaser trailer, the Indonesia stages will have sweeping gravel roads, trackside palm trees, and stunning views.
In addition, the Art of Rally Indonesia update will add a new free roam area combining all six stages, along with two new songs. This will be the second new location added to Art of Rally following the Kenya update released last summer.
Art of Rally Indonesia update release date
The Art of Rally Indonesia update will be available on all platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The PC update will arrive first on 22 September, with consoles to follow consoles “shortly after.”
Best of all, the Art of Rally Indonesia update will be free on all platforms.
Collector’s Edition
A physical version of Art of Rally will also be released this autumn, including a swanky Collector's Edition with extras such as a poster, soundtrack download card, vinyl sticker sheet, and a papercraft car.
In the US, the Art of Rally Collector’s Edition is listed on Amazon with a 21 October release date. Meridium Games is publishing the physical release in Europe but there’s no release date yet.
