The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen introduces ice racing

The Crew 2 has entered its fifth year, but Ivory Tower’s support for the popular open-world racer isn’t stopping any time soon.

The next episode of The Crew 2 Season 6 was revealed at the Ubisoft Forward conference, with Episode 2 Dominion Frozen bringing ice racing to the open-world racer along with new cars and events.

The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen

After Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg taught you the art of drifting and precision driving in Season 6 Episode 1, Episode 2: Dominion Frozen sees you slipping and sliding on ice and snow for the first time in The Crew 2. You’ll need to use the skills Forsberg taught you to master these treacherous tracks.

Launching on September 14, Episode 2: Dominion Frozen adds a flurry of snowy events on frozen tracks across Street Race, Hypercar, Rallycross, and Touring Car classes. Reminiscent of DiRT 5’s ice races, keeping your car under control on low-grip ice and snow will bring a new challenge to The Crew 2.

New cars

Not only will Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen bring ice racing to The Crew 2, but it will also add a selection of new cars. These include the 1972 Mazda RX-3 (Steet Race), available to purchase on 14 September from the in-game dealership.

In addition, the 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Star Edition (Street Race) will make a long-awaited return on 21 September. Over the next few weeks, Ivory Tower will add other unannounced cars throughout the episode.

Season 6 Episode 2 Motorpass

Season 2 Episode 2 will also bring a new Motorpass with 50 new tiers of free and premium content from new cars to Vanity items. New Premium cars will include the Saleen S7 Glacier Edition unlocked at Tier 1, the Mazda RX-3 Supercharged Edition available at Tier 13, and the Dodge SRT Viper GTS Lightning Edition at Tier 37.

Reaching Tier 25 will also unlock the Creators DeLorean DMC-12 Outadrift, which is free for all players.

New Live Summit

There will also be a new Live Summit in Season 6 Episode 2, starting with the Black Ice event on 14 September. After that, a new Premium Live Summit will also arrive on 5 October featuring the 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8 Crown Edition as a Platinum reward.

The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen release date

The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen launches this week on 14 September for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Back in July, The Crew 2 also received a next-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X, bringing 4K and 60fps support.
