The F1 2022 reveals continue this week. We got a look at the AlphaTauri yesterday, and there is Ferrari and Mercedes later this week but today is all about Williams.
The Oxfordshire-based team finally lifted themselves from the back of the Formula 1 grid in 2021, but have lost their star driver George Russell to Mercedes. What can Nicholas Latifi and Alex Albon do with the new car? We can't wait to find out.
F1 2022 Williams
The 2021 Williams had a striking and unmissable look, but it didn't scream "Williams" to long-term fans. Will the team go back to a classic look, or will the team's new owners start stamping their own mark on the car?
After announcing a partnership with Duracell we saw that the Williams colouring wouldn't be changing too much, but the overall design, well...
The new FW44 brings the blue back in a big way, but the hint of red across the front wing and air intake is there to represent the British nature of the team.
The car should stand out on the grid with its clean new look.
F1 2022 release date
We don't yet have a release date for F1 2022, but we know the game is coming.
Codemasters, now with the backing of EA, will be hard at work creating the next game in the annual racing franchise. With a new track in Miami and sweeping changes to the cars, Codemasters has their hands full developing the game for this new era of Formula 1.
We expect the game to arrive in mid-July across console and PC. F1 2022 could well be the final F1 title released for PS4 and Xbox One but that remains to be seen.
Expect an announcement trailer for the game around April. Until then you can find all the F1 2021 guides, news, and tips you need right here on RacingGames.GG!
