With Season 5 ending, Psyonix has announced the start date for Rocket League Season 6, which brings a new Rocket Pass, rewards, and items to the popular car football game. Seven years after it launched, it’s great to see Psyonix is still supporting Rocket League to keep the experience fresh.
Here’s what players can look forward to in Rocket League season 6.
Season 6 includes a new animation-themed Rocket Pass featuring the Nomad van with road trip stickers included with the Well Traveled Decal. In addition, the Rocket Pass adds new Wheels, a Goal Explosion, and a new Antenna inspired by the mysterious Nomster creature.
After the season begins, the Fornax Series will add new Blueprints for the Mamba Car, including the stylish Pixelated Shades: Multichrome and holographic Troika: Roasted Wheels. A new Shade Raid Goal Explosion also gives the arena a comic book-style makeover with stylised visuals. Sticking with the comic theme, Season 6 also adds a new Comic variant of the Neo Tokyo arena.
As for Tournament Rewards, players can earn toilet paper rolls, heavy dumbbells, and wheels full of teeth in season 6.
Like in past seasons, there will also be a new Limited Time Event introducing a brand new game mode. Psyonix isn’t sharing details yet, but the new LTE will start “later this season,” with details coming soon.
The much-anticipated Black Fennec is coming to the Item Shop in Season 6.
In addition, Starter and Standard Bundles will be available packing classic items like the Jäger 619, Toon-Hydro Trail, Toon Goal Explosion (Titanium White), and more.
