F1 Manager 2024 new features
F1 Manager has been developed by Frontier Developments since 2022 and that's going to be the case again for 2024. F1 Manager 2024 will once again allow you to step into your favorite F1 team as Team Principal.
For the first time in the series, F1 Manager 2024 will allow you to create your own custom team and join the grid. You'll be able to set everything from your drivers' strategies to hiring and firing team personnel.
The new mentality hub is another big feature in F1 Manager 2024. Keeping your drivers and staff happy is just as important as developing the car. If your personnel do get upset, there's a high chance they'll leave the team to cross the grid to a rival.
Other confirmed features coming to the game this year include random mechanical failures and driver affiliates. This is where teams can sign up to ten young drivers for the future, developing their talent by placing them in F2 or F3 teams for regular drives.
F1 Manager 2024 release date
Frontier has confirmed F1 Manager 2024's release date, with the game set to launch this summer.
F1 Manager 2024 will launch on July 23, 2024, the same week as the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix. This means fans can get their hands on the game just before the paddock moves to Spa, the final race before F1's summer break.
This puts the game in the same release window as its predecessors. Both F1 Manager 2022 and F1 Manager 2023 launched in the Belgian Grand Prix race week, one of the highlights of each F1 season.
Two editions can be preordered: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition includes an F1 2024 Show Car preset for the Create a Team livery editor, while the Deluxe Edition adds five extra liveries for Create a Team and five fictional Race Replay events.
As for pricing, the Standard Edition is priced at £29.99 / $34.99, while the Deluxe Edition retails for £39.99 / $44.99. Unlike last year's game, F1 Manager 2024 won't get a physical release and will be digital only. This has enabled Frontier to sell the game for a cheaper retail price.
