Ivory Tower appears to be all gas, no brakes for Year 3 of The Crew Motorfest, with lots of new content scheduled. Season 8 is the first major update of the year. Major headlines for the season are the return of proper street racing to the open-world racer and a massive lineup of BMWs.
Of course, there are quality-of-life changes as well. Keep reading to know all the improvements for the upcoming season of The Crew Motorfest.
The Crew Motorfest Season 8 QoL Updates Detailed
Ubisoft shared all the QoL changes The Crew Motorfest will receive for Season 8 in an official blog post:
Grand Race Enhancements
- New Ranked Grand Races
- A new menu for Grand Races to show your Rank, Current Grand Race, Next Grand Races rotation (including modifiers), etc.
- During Grand Races, you'll be able to see the rank of your opponents during your Race.
Stance & Rims Menu
- Front and Back Stance: Vehicle customization takes a major step forward with the long-requested ability to adjust stance, letting you fine-tune ride height and wheel alignment for a personalized look.
- New customization option: Official Branded Rim.
- Rims customization: Rims now have more customization options, including new colors and material finishes.

- Ivory Tower (some rims are on our own brand)
Rims: 63 rims in total
- BBS Motorsport: 3 Rims
- HRE: 27
- OZ Racing: 10
- Ivory Tower: 23 (including 5 special editions)
Looking for Crew
- New Crew Management Menu: The crew management menu has been improved to streamline the experience when either trying to join or add players to a crew.
- Looking for Crew: Finding new crewmates just became a whole lot easier! Select the activity you want to take on with a crew and continue playing on your own while looking for players. You will be notified when a crew is formed, and you can jump right into your favorite activities.
Friend Pass
- Invite up to 3 friends on the same platform family to join your crew via the trial version of The Crew Motorfest and play with them without any time limits as many times as you want!
- The Crew Leader must own the game to use this feature.
Outside of all the changes, The Crew Motorfest will also get the Steam Deck Verification badge when Season 8 launches on November 5, 2025.
