Asphalt 9: Legends' first DLC is Legends Unite and the post-launch DLC expansion has us all hyped ahead of its release date. There's loads of new content on offer, including new cars for your garage.

Is Asphalt Legends Unite Crossplay?

Asphalt Legends Unite's tagline is 'Play Together', so it shouldn't come as a surprise that crossplay is enabled for this title and the DLC as a whole.

Crossplay is also known as cross-platform play and it allows players to be in the same online multiplayer lobbies as players on different consoles. So, if you're on PlayStation, you can still play against your friends on Xbox when crossplay is enabled.

Asphalt 9: Legends is available on a lot of different console systems, as it's out for Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Switch and mobile platforms. You'll be able to add your friends to your Club no matter which system they're playing on.

The same goes for online multiplayer in general, you'll be able to play in the same online lobbies as all other players. So, you can have a lobby full of players on a variety of different systems.

Crossplay for all systems has been officially confirmed by Gameloft in a recent post on their website. Cross-save between different systems is also allowed, but not between all consoles.

Those who sign in using their Gameloft ID on Android, iOS, Xbox, and PC can utilize cross-save to play on different systems, but this isn't available for those on Switch or PlayStation.

This is due to those consoles' accounts being linked to Nintendo and Sony, respectably.

Legends Unite Release Date Trailer

Asphalt Legends Unite's newest trailer confirmed the DLC's release date and also featured a familiar face in actor-turned-race car driver Frankie Muniz!

The release date for Asphalt Legends Unite is July 17 for all systems. This includes Android and Apple mobile devices, Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Switch and Windows PC.
