Kunos Simulazioni has caught the racing games world by surprise, announcing Assetto Corsa Rally, the brand-new entry in the Assetto Corsa universe.

This game aims to deliver the most authentic and immersive rally experience ever, and features such as dynamic weather conditions, 3D laser-scanned tracks and cars, as well as co-driver support, will play a big role in making that possible.

It's a dream come true for rally fans, and a new chapter for the Assetto Corsa franchise.

Assetto Corsa Rally is a "relentless rally simulation designed to capture the sport’s raw intensity and precision". The game wants to faithfully re-create the intensity, challenge, and unpredictability of rally driving, providing players with an authentic rally racing experience.

It uses the Assetto Corsa physics engine, but optimized for rally racing. Trucks and cars were created using 3D laser-scanning technology, with the drivers, crowds, and every other single visual detail being carefully curated to deliver an immersive experience like never before.

All of this is powered by Unreal Engine 5, but not a standard one, one that was specifically created to match all the needs of a racing game, more specifically, a rally racing game.

The game's sound was also something very important for Supernova & KUNOS Simulazioni, as they wanted the game to not only feel real but also sound it, as it would add an extra layer of immersion to the game. Game sounds were recorded from real cars, and the co-drivers' suggestions were also recorded by real co-pilots.

Assetto Corsa Rally allows players to customize their driving experience in a plethora of ways. The game has plenty of customization options, as players can change the UI, controls, racing wheel settings, and the game even supports a triple-screen setup. So, you can enjoy Assetto Corsa Rally in the way you want.

Assetto Corsa Rally has four game modes: Rally Events, Free Practice, Rally Weekend, Single Rally Stage, and Time Attack. It will include 10 licensed cars at launch, and that roster will expand to 30+ after launch. The same will happen with the game's tracks, as it starts with four, and more will be added post-launch.

More game modes and VR support will also be added to the game after launch, and new content will arrive at the game regularly to make Assetto Corsa Rally fresh and exciting.
