It's rare that Codemasters drops patches out of the blue, but that's what has happened with a new F1 22 hotfix!
With most of us eagerly awaiting the F1 Esports race, Codemasters dropped a patch for the new Formula 1 game addressing several pressing conserns.
So what is in the patch?
F1 22 hotfix
The hotfix, as you would expect, doesn't contain much and is only 243 MB on Steam.
The official notes for it are as follows:
- Addresses corrupted savegame files for some players
- Addresses excessive force feedback during collisions
- Addresses non-functioning Steam invites with cross-play
Those are pretty key issues! It doesn't say if previously corrupted savegame files are now recoverable. We certainly hope so.
F1 Esports is back
Yesterday saw the start of the 2022 F1 Esports Series Pro Championship. While the name is a mouthful, the action on track is amazing.
Lucas Blakeley took the first race of the year at Bahrain, you can read the full race report here.
Tonight the action moves to Imola, where rookie Thomas Ronhaar is on pole ahead of Marcel Kiefer and Blakeley.
You can watch all the action on Formula 1's official YouTube and Twitch channels from 7:30pm BST tonight!
And the action doesn't stop there, as F1 Esports heads to Silverstone tomorrow (September 16). Qualifying is at 3:30pm BST and the race at 7:30pm BST.
