Cyberpunk 2077 has had a, how shall we put this, mixed launch. Thankfully, that is long behind us.
Now, the game is a favourite for many, and the incredibly in-depth narratives have us all engrossed.

Now, however, some dataminers may have found some exciting new details. Let's take a look at these now!
Multiplayer details
Many people, us included, believed that CDPR's focus was on fixing the game itself as opposed to preparing a multiplayer.
However, some clever dataminers have found some lines of code that seem to show otherwise.
With both a Heist mode and a simple Deathmatch mode found, I think it's time we took a look at these leaks and see what they mean for us as players!
Heist
We all know heist. It is an outright mainstay of GTA, with millions of players taking part in them online.
Now, it seems the mode, or a version of it, will be making its way into Cyberpunk 2077 also. And we can't wait to see how it turns out!
The files show that MP.Heist will at some point be added. It goes without saying that this most likely implies a multiplayer heist mode.
The files also suggest that there may be a class system in multiplayer, as the lines Solo, Assassin, Netrunner, Techie and Default are in there as well.
All we know is, chances are you'll need a fast car... Or a bunch of them!
Deathmatch
Deathmatch is as old as gaming itself, and simply implies that there will one team against another in a battle to the bitter end.
There are some lines showcasing the in-game pop up messages, including 'Your shot destroyed (player's) body and soul!'.
With the game still somewhat of a mess on last-gen, and next-gen players also experiencing some issues, we remain hopeful that multiplayer could save Cyberpunk 2077 completely!
