The release of Cyberpunk 2077 is, hopefully, just around the corner.
Here at Racing Games we wonder what direction CD Projekt Red will take the game in.
Will the game take over GTA's place as the go to for online races and carnage?
Let's go over what we think may happen!
Driving in Cyberpunk 2077
The game has already showcased a variety of cars and car classes.
From Economy through to Hypercars, CD Projket Red have put a lot of effort into making the roads feel fun and varied.
So now that begs the question, how will we use all these cars?
Our thoughts are that the game will feature racing elements, and we can't wait!
How will this work? Well, here are our thoughts on racing in Cyberpunk 2077.
Racing in Cyberpunk 2077
Being set in the seedy underbelly of Night City, we can't see any reason why you won't be racing.
With the included sport and hypercar categories, it seems as if CD Projekt Red is encouraging it.
Following in GTA V's and Red dead redemption 2's footsteps, the game will receive multiplayer support later.
As such, races with your friends will more than likely happen!
Racing like GTA V?
Given the game's similar release to other singe-player open-world games, we think Cyberpunk will follow suit.
Whilst we may not see custom track building like in GTA, online races are more than likely.
Having said that, the team hasn't confirmed any of this yet.
We simply hope that CD Projekt Red will let us race around Night City with our friends!
