We're bringing you five cars we want to see in GTA 6 when it launches. It's been over a decade since Grand Theft Auto V launched in 2013 and despite this not being an out-and-out racing game, racing is extremely popular in GTA.
Grand Theft Auto VI's trailer was recently teased by Rockstar, confirming via Twitter that the long-awaited first trailer will go live in early December.
There have been dozens of rumours circulating about what will be included in GTA 6. Not as many people, though, are speaking about the cars we'll see in GTA 6.
There's no doubt that some cars will be imported from GTA V, but there will also be plenty of new cars too. So, what are the five cars we wnat to see in GTA 6 see the most? Here are our picks.
5 Cars We Want to see in GTA 6
We need to start this list by making an important distinction. Unlike most racing games where the cars included are real, GTA's cars aren't officially licenced.
Grand Theft Auto doesn't have official manufacturer or brand names as it instead bases its vehicles on real-life counterparts.
For this list, we'll be including five cars from the real world we want to see added to GTA 6. We don't know what their names will be in GTA 6, but whatever they'll be called, we want to race them in Vice City, which is expected to return in GTA 6.
GTA V has races dotted around Los Santos' large sandbox maps and it's one of the most popular game modes in both single-player and GTA Online play. They cover not only cars but also boat, plane and bike races.
Tesla Cybertruck
GTA always had the most ridiculous cars and with the rise of electric vehicles (EVs) in the real world, it makes perfect sense for the Tesla Cybertruck to be in GTA 6.
Tesla's GTA counterpart is known as "Coil", so we can expect the Cybertruck to be known as something like the Coil "Digitruck."
The Cybertruck looks more like it came straight out of Cyberpunk than a real-world factory, but it is expected to be commercially available later this month. By the time GTA 6 is likely released towards the end of 2024, we'll have seen plenty of these on the road.
With how tough the Cybertruk is reported to be, it could take more than a few RPG rounds to dent in GTA!
Toyota Supra
Toyota is known as "Karin" in GTA, but one of Toyota's most famous models, the "Supra" isn't represented in GTA V. This is surprising as the Supra is one of the most iconic Japanese sports cars of the 1990s.
The Supra has also made a comeback recently, having returned to production in the form of the revamped GR A80 version in 2019.
We'd love to see all three generations replicated in GTA 6. While these cars aren't as fast as the hypercars used in top-level races, they will be fun to drift around the map's long bends and off-road dirt roads.
Hummer EV
There are a few different variants of the Hummer we'd like to see in GTA 6, but there should be at least one EV version in the game. The Hummer is known as "Mammoth" in GTA, which is an appropriate name for the manufacturer.
Hummers are essentially modified military vehicles suitable for civilian use. They're huge and the closest things you'll see to monster trucks without being monster trucks.
Both the SUV and Pickup versions of Hummer could be available in GTA VI and they'll be very handy as not much can match them for both power and size.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Not to be confused with the 1967 classic version of the car, the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a modern-day beast of a muscle car. Ford is known as "Vapid" in GTA and this would be a real fan favourite if it's added to GTA 6.
The 5.2 litre V8 engine will send you flying down the map's highways at breakneck speeds. Mustangs are quick, but this Shelby version might well be the quickest muscle car in GTA 6 on launch day.
Aston Martin DBX
The final car on our list is the most unusual from Aston Martin's current fleet of production cars. The DBX is a high-performance SUV, which stands out against the sports, super and hypercars that Aston is more famous for.
Aston Martin is known as "Dewbauchee" in GTA and this brand already has the Victor, Valkyrie, DB10 and more in GTA V.
The Hummer is the ultimate large SUV, while the DBX would likely be the quickest SUV in GTA 6.
With a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the hood, this is no slouch. And that's even before you get it to a Tuning shop.
