Cyberpunk 2077 finally launched last week, and gamers everywhere have fallen in love with it.
While it is available on console, it has seemingly flopped on PS4 & Xbox One, with old consoles struggling to run the game. Next-gen consoles are fine, but it has quickly become clear that Cyberpunk is one for the PC Master Race.
One of the big reasons for that, is it turns out you can use a wheel for Cyberpunk! Well, sort of.
Using a wheel in Cyberpunk 2077
The Shed Racer himself, YouTuber Jimmy Broadbent, recently posted a video where he managed to get behind the wheel in Cyberpunk and race around using his Fanatec wheel.
After dropping into his Steam settings to map the buttons on his wheel, Jimmy was able to go driving around Night City in his sim rig.
It's worth noting that he couldn't set it up with pedals, and so had to use the gear paddles as throttle and brake.
Cars in Cyberpunk 2077
There is a huge number of cars in Cyberpunk 2077. Split into tiers of low, middle, and top, as you would expect you don't get access to the very best early in the game!
You can also drive a Cyberpunk outside of Cyberpunk...
NICE WHEELS: Cyberpunk cars are like nothing else
That's right, Forza Horizon 4 has the amazing Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech. This one-off addition was available last week FOR FREE!
Racing in Cyberpunk?
So far the cars are mostly just a means of getting around. We certainly haven't played enough of Cyberpunk to reach any races yet...
The hope is that CD Projekt Red will develop the game similarly to Grand Theft Auto and make some futuristic races that involve the amazing cars they have created for this world.
