As a result, it's fair to say that there have been some teething issues with EA Sports WRC. However, Codemasters is working on a patch update and the game's community have also been helping each other out.
One particular issue is affecting the force feedback for the Moza racing wheels and pedals has now been resolved by one of the most popular sim racing YouTubers. Here's everything you need to know if this is afflicting you.
EA Sports WRC: How To Fix EA Sports Moza Force Feedback
EA Sports WRC is compatible with a lot of racing wheels and pedals. There are dozens that work with the new WRC game, whether you're on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S or Windows PC.
We've done our best to help you out with our recommended wheel settings, but it's hard to get the settings right for all wheels. Each wheel is different and those playing WRC on a Moza wheel have found that out the hard way.
Force feedback is an essential part of being quick while racing in a video game. Without it, you can't react as quickly as you would with a real-life car and you'll usually find yourself sliding off the road.
For those using a Moza wheel, the force feedback simply doesn't work with the base settings. Thankfully, though, online user Mazzimo has found the solution.
Moza Wheels
While they're not as big of a household name as the likes of Thrustmaster and Logitech, Moza is earning a reputation.
They're specifically popular within the hardcore sim racing and esports communities, with the likes of Jimmy Broadbent endorsing them.
Moza racing wheels range from the relatively budget R3 wheel and pedals set to the FSR Formula Wheel. If you have any of these and want to play EA Sports WRC, you'll need the code that we've got in this article below.
Moza Force Feedback Fix
Mazzimo shared his findings and these have since gone viral within the Moza community.
If you're on PC, go into the folder WRC\Content\input\Windows\devices and copy and paste the following code to fix the force feedback:
<device official="false" type="wheel" name="moza_wheel_r16_r21" id="{0000346E-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" priority="100" /> <device official="false" type="wheel" name="moza_wheel_r9" id="{0002346E-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" priority="100" /> <device official="false" type="wheel" name="moza_wheel_r5" id="{0004346E-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" priority="100" /> <device official="false" type="pedal" name="moza_pedal_crp" id="{0001346E-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" priority="100" /> <device official="false" type="pedal" name="moza_pedal_srp" id="{0003346E-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" priority="100" />
This is an issue that will only affect PC users, so if you're on Series X or PS5, you don't need to worry about this.
