Of course, the season wouldn't be complete without some high-profile wheels. Most of the six cars for the update are new variants of existing models, like the Alpine A110 R Ultime, the much more aggressive, track-focused sibling in the Alpine A110 lineup.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 6 Detective Missions
Detective Missions is the major content drop for Season 6 of TDU: Solar Crown. It was part of previous Test Drive games and is all about tailing cars without getting detected.
When you begin, you'll have a couple of details at your disposal. This includes the vehicle you have to target, the weather, the traffic density, and the road conditions.
Each of these missions has a different background and story. No matter the drama attached, simply turtling behind a car can sound a little anodyne for many. KT Racing noted that the missions will see improvements during the season.
As detailed by the developers in their Season 6 Steam post, the two major reworks include:
- Advanced Detection Parameters: Currently, only distance affects suspicion. We feel this lacks the "Role Play" depth expected of a Test Drive title. We are adding new parameters that the suspect will detect: accidents, driving the wrong way, using the horn, drifting, over-revving the engine, etc.
- Detection States: The vision for Detective mode is to make you feel undercover, not in a police chase. To maintain this immersion, we previously lacked the tools to keep the difficulty high without being frustrating or weird. In addition to the new detection parameters in S6P1, we are introducing a Detection State system, allowing us to create a more challenging and nuanced experience.
To test these improvements, 15 new detective missions were added post-Season 6. That makes a total of 30 missions, split between launch and throughout the season.
TDU Solar Crown Season 6 Island Rework
Season 5 of Solar Crown improved the open-world details in the southern region, and now it's the northern region that'll receive major makeovers.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 6 Cars
Six new cars will be added to TDU Solar Crown with the Season 6 update. Here is the full list:

The Pagani Huayra is the first car from the manufacturer to be added to Solar Crown. The sound of the German V12 is disappointing, nothing close to real life. Developers acknowledged it, and the improvements to the car sound will arrive later.

TDU Solar Crown Season 6 Clothing Stores & Licensed Customization Items
Walkable clothing stores and officially licensed parts are now part of TDU Solar Crown with the Season 6 release.
You can find the store in Ibiza for the Streets and Sharp clans. Clothing stores can be found in the clan HQs, too. The character model is not the only one getting new drips. Licensed parts and liveries have been added to the open-world racer.
That includes BMW M Performance livery for the BMW M4 Competition. Official spoiler, side skirt, rear diffuser, and front splitter for Audi R8 RWS. Michelin-branded live event, a Michelin x Mercedes-Benz bundle in the online store, and Michelin clothing items.
New liveries and spoilers will be added through live events for the Ford Mustang and Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. Other spoilers and livery options are available in the online store.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 6 QoL changes
Below are all the QoL improvements added with Season 6, as shared by KT Racing:
- Casino NPC Voices: The team has gone and added new voices to the NPCs around the Casino! This means a more immersive experience, whether you are exchanging your Casino Chips, heading to the Poker room, or even playing Poker!
- Alyss GPS Voice: The sound design team also worked on naturalising the GPS voice! This better aligns with the future of the TDU DNA, and it’s something we’ve seen players request often!
- Increased Outfit Slots: Another player request, we’ve increased the amount of outfit slots possible! This means you can now save up to 6 outfits for your character!
- Increased GPS Destination Points: We’ve seen players use this for their group cruises and even mini-races, so we decided to increase this! You can now select up to 10 GPS points within a route, meaning the possibilities of custom group races and even larger cruises are now possible!
- Improved Thumbnail Generation: We’ve improved the look of the vehicle thumbnails in your garage, but also how they look in the workshop and dealership too! You’ll find body customisations now showcase the item, and they have an improved visual experience.
- Improved Ibiza Workshop (Selene HQ) Lighting: We’ve improved the lighting when in the Selene HQ workshop menu. Similarly, this will bring a better visual experience for the player.
- Dirty Air Overhaul: We’ve improved how dirt air works in the game based on player feedback. There is now up to 0.3% to 0.5% of less drag behind a car, and we added a linear progression from 100 meters to 0, as it was previously an on/off trigger. This should improve how players race at high speeds. We are curious to hear your feedback on this improvement, and we’ll be watching out socials regarding this.
