Everything Coming To Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown With Season 6

Northern Districts Rework

Major parts of Solar Crown have been continually reworked to bring a greater sense of life to the environment. The last update improved the southern areas of Hong Kong Island, and now we're moving up north next for some more makeovers.

This includes new, different-looking buildings, neon-lit street signs, and more greenery. You can check some of the before-and-after screenshots shared by the developers in their announcement post below.

All of the added elements breathe more life and character into the world, which it was severely lacking.

Official Car Parts

Official side skirts, diffusers, and front splitters are some of the customization options you can expect to be added to Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown with the Season 6 update.

It will start with Audi Sport Performance Parts customization for the Audi R8 RWS coupe in Season 6. Spoiler, front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser can be added individually in the workshop.

KT Racing said in the announcement that "we will work on increasing the quantity of this content in the following seasons too," so more official parts are headed to the open world in the future.

Detective Missions

Voted in by the community to return, Season 6 will add Detective Missions from earlier titles to Solar Crown. As the name suggests, it'll have you sleuthing cars and avoiding detection.

Speaking about the mode, developers said, "We wanted to make sure these missions aren’t just tailing like they were in TDU2, and we are confident we’ve done well here!"

We will have to wait until the season is live to know what those exciting twists are and how well they work to keep things interesting.

Outside of all that we have listed above, Season 6 will also bring a better way to try out the latest drips with physical clothing stores in Ibiza.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 6 Fixes

Developers also shared some of the fixes that are planned for Season 6 of TDU Solar Crown:

  • Wheel Animation Desync On Wheels - With the implementation of multiple inputs, we’ve fixed the issue where the wheel can become desynced.
  • Ferrari Portofino missing interior trim options - The Portofino now has the correct interior options!
  • Gas Station AR not being disabled - Gas Stations no longer have AR when you have the AR feature off.
  • Cancelling an emote with an object makes the object stay in motion - We’ve fixed this issue so you can no longer throw multiple objects in the game, although we understand some players had fun messing around with this bug.
  • Ford F150 Adventurer/Nissan GTR The Tyger/BMW M4 Competition PUMA upgrade pricing - We fixed the upgrade pricing of all the vehicles affected
  • The Ferrari 488 Pista has the incorrect reverse/turn-signal lighting and interior/2D lens model -The 488 finally has its signature turn signal design!
  • Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE rim model - We’ve fixed these rims so they are more accurately reflected with more depth.
  • While using an H-Shifter, the vehicle incorrectly produces a 'rev match' dynamic/sound when the gear select is in neutral too quickly (with auto-clutch off) - A well-awaited fix, those who use auto-clutch off, and especially those who use H-shifters, will no longer hear the rev match noise!
  • Impossible Speed Challenges - All Impossible Speed Challenges can now be completed!
  • FSR3/XeSS/DLSS 99% is actually better quality than 100% - A very specific bug, but those who use the highest option of your upscaler should see a slightly improved sharpness/clarity.

More details on the update will be revealed as the release date approaches. We will be sure to update you whenever they're made official.
