There may only be a month to go until F1 2021 arrives, but Codemasters hasn't left F1 2020 behind just yet.
The developers have just dropped Update 1.19 into the game, which should help a certain group of players.
F1 2020 Update 1.19
Dropping today, update 1.19 is not a massive patch so you won't be waiting long to download.
In fact, it's only landing on the PS4, so Xbox and PC players won't need to wait around at all.
Patch notes
This patch is specifically looking at online play on the PS4.
With just one patch note that reads: "Addressed a crash that could occur after an online session due to missing players from a previous session."
F1 2020 has been Codemasters' most successful release to date, and while it is about to pass the torch over to F1 2021, it has served players very well.
F1 2021 Braking Point
The next game in the official Formula 1 series is set to brake the mould in several ways. The biggest of which is the introduction of a true story mode.

Dubbed "Braking Point", this will see players go back in time to 2019 and jump into the Formula 2 series. Facing a long climb to Formula 1 and the return of Devon Butler, the mode should be great fun.
Codemasters is lifting the hood in a big reveal of Braking Point later today!
F1 2021 release date
F1 2021 has an official release date of 16 July.
However, for those eager to play a little earlier, the Deluxe Edition unlocks on 13 July thanks to three days early access.
F1 2021 will be available on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
