F1 2021 has been with us for a couple of months now, and we're thoroughly enjoying the title.
As with every year, the driver ratings receive updates to better align with their performances in real life.
So, let's take a look now at the latest driver rating changes, and why they have changed!
Bottas improvements
Firstly, Bottas has had his driver rating improved by one. This comes after both his Racecraft and Pace have gone up to 91 and 92 respectively.
During the last driver rating change, Bottas' rating took a bit of a hit. However, following some positive race results recently, including achieving a podium after starting at the back of the grid, his rating has bounced back.
We're excited to see how these changes are reflected in his driving in-game.
Ferrari and Schumacher increases
There are also stat increases for both Ferraris and Mick Schumacher.
For the Ferraris, Leclerc has achieved two top 5 finishes, and this has lead to his Racecraft and Awareness increasing by one each. Likewise, Sainz's Awareness, Racecraft, and Pace have all gone up by one, meaning his Overall also increase to 88.
Schumacher's pace has been incredibly impressive, and his Racecraft and Pace increase by two. This leads to a rise of two in his overall rating to 79.
Ocon and Perez woes
There are just two drivers to see a decrease in their statistics. These are Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez.
Ocon has had some tricky races recently, and a recent collision with Vettel has dropped his Awareness by 14. This sees his overall rating fall by two.
Perez has seen his Racecraft drop by two and his Pace by one. Naturally keeping up with Verstappen is always going to be a struggle, however, his pace compared to the Dutchman has seen this fall in rating.
