Every racing game is limited by the circuits it has on offer, so what are the F1 23 tracks? Where can players go racing when the new game finally lands?
With the longest calendar in F1 history planned, there are a lot of circuits to list off. But will the new circuits joining this year's calendar be in F1 23 at launch?
Without further ado, here is the full F1 23 track list.
Latest news - First look at updated Spanish Grand Prix
As well as adding new circuits to the calendar, the 2023 Formula 1 season sees changes to existing race tracks. Replicating the MotoGP layout, the updated Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya removes the final chicane.
In a Tweet, Codemasters confirmed the revised Spain circuit will be at F1 23, showcased in a comparison between F1 22 and F1 23. This should make for some exciting last-minute overtaking opportunities.
F1 23 gameplay showcases Las Vegas Strip Circuit
The Las Vegas Grand Prix takes place in November, but F1 23 players can experience the new street circuit several months early. With only a few weeks until launch, Codemasters has released a new gameplay video showcasing the Las Vegas Strip Circuit in a three-lap race.
Unfortunately, we can't embed the video as it's only on the official FOrmula 1 channel, but you can watch the F1 23 Las Vegas gameplay video at this link.
First look at Las Vegas & Losail
Codemasters' latest trailer was a deep dive into some of the gameplay changes coming to F1 23. While a lot of time was spent looking at the handling and physics, we also got a look at the two new tracks coming to the Formula 1 calendar this year.
The Las Vegas Strip Circuit and Losail International Circuit will make their debut in F1 23 and we got a brief look at each circuit. Codemasters confirmed they have used a mix of FOM CAD files, ArcGIS World Atlas Arial imagery, and photogrammetry to help construct the tracks.
They've also had to painstakingly recreate the Las Vegas night sky. Fortunately, they got plenty of practice in making new US street circuits after Miami last year.
Losail and Las Vegas were confirmed to be in the game at launch, along with the Shanghai, Portimao, and Paul Ricard circuits which are not on the official calendar but remain in the game for players to enjoy.
F1 23 Tracks
The 2023 season features 23 races across five continents around the world.
24 races were originally planned but China's ongoing covid issues have left that race once again in flux.
A brand-new circuit is joining the 2023 calendar in the form of the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Despite having limited time to create the circuit, Codemasters has managed to add the Las Vegas circuit in time for launch. This perhaps isn't surprising given that F1 22 included last year's new Miami circuit in time for launch. We get a brief glimpse of the Las Vegas circuit at the start of the F1 23 reveal trailer.
The Qatar Grand Prix is also returning after its stand-in role in 2020 and is also confirmed for F1 23 at launch.
Legacy tracks
In a surprise but welcome move, three legacy circuits are also returning in F1 23.
Despite not appearing in the 2023 season calendar, the Paul Ricard (France), Shanghai (China), and Portimao (Portugal) circuits will be in F1 23 at launch.
The Portuguese and Chinese Grand Prixs were added to F1 22 in free updates after launch, but fans won't have to wait for Codemasters to add them to F1 23 this time.
France's polarising Paul Ricard circuit was removed from the 2023 calendar, but it makes sense for it to return in F1 23 as Codemasters already has an up-to-date model of the track.
Let's hope this paves the way for more classic tracks to return in F1 23 after launch.

Las Vegas Street Circuit
The only truly new race on the calendar in 2023 is the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Las Vegas Street Circuit will bring F1 back to Sin City for the first time since the 1980s and to the Strip for the first time ever.
Las Vegas will make it three races in the United States in 2023, as it joins the USGP at COTA and the Miami Grand Prix.
This will be one of the fastest circuits on the calendar, with the cars reaching over 200mph (320kph) at four points on the layout.
As a new street circuit, Codemasters will be hard-pressed to recreate it in the game as it doesn't really exist yet. But they had experience with this thanks to Miami last year so the team should be in good shape to get a strong representation of the circuit into F1 23.
Qatar Grand Prix
More famous for hosting MotoGP, the Qatar Grand Prix is back in F1 for 2023. Despite a rumoured Doha Street Circuit mooted to make an appearance, we're going back to Lusail.
Lusail is a night race that challenges drivers by sporting some of the fastest corners in F1. Overtakes are frequent here too, with a long start/finish straight benefitting from DRS.
In the real-life race, we saw plenty of tyre blowouts, so we could see the Pirelli's pushed to breaking point in F1 23 as well!
Circuit alterations
There aren't many circuit changes in the 2023 season compared to last year. One of the exceptions to this though, is the Singapore Grand Prix's Marina Bay Street Circuit.
The run between Turns 16 and what used to be Turn 19 will now be straight. This is thanks to the corners having been taken out to allow for work on the floating football pitch.
The changes haven't been confirmed by the race organisers and it isn't clear if this will be reflected in F1 23. However, it could be a permanent change, as this will improve overtaking at what is a tricky track to pass around.
Another circuit that will see changes is Jeddah's Corniche Street Circuit. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will see changes for 2023 in the form of wider entries for Turns 14 and 20.
Conversely, the Turns 22-23 chicane has been tightened to slow the cars down, so lap times should be around the same as in 2022.
The Spanish Grand Prix has also changed for the 2023 season. The latest layout removes the chicane, replicating the MotoGP layout. In a Tweet, Codemasters confirmed the updated Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya circuit will be in F1 23 at launch.
