The Brazilian Grand Prix was full of drama, disappointment, and an incredible charge to the line between Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez. Alonso won the battle in Sao Paulo, but this week’s F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment offers an opportunity to score even more points for Aston Martin.
F1 Manager 2023 Samba De Alonso Race Moment out now
Last week’s race in Brazil had drama even before the start. Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari failed on the formation lap, and an epic collision between Alex Albon and Kevin Magnussen brought out the red flags on the opening lap.
After all the chaos died down, both Aston Martins found themselves in high-scoring positions. Lance Stroll took the chequered flag in fifth, but it was Fernando Alonso who grabbed the spotlight, beating Perez to the line by only 0.053 seconds to finish on the podium.
Samba De Alonso starts with both Aston Martins in the top five. After multiple retirements, there’s a real opportunity to score highly with both cars. Perez is leading a charge from behind, however, so it is up to you to hold off the Red Bull driver and take the extra points.
The official description for Samba De Alonso is as follows:
“After a series of incidents & retirements at the start of the Brazilian Grand Prix, Aston Martin have both drivers in the top 5. With all cars needing another stop, can Stroll & Alonso counter an aggressive charge from Perez and secure extra points for the team?”
F1 Manager suffers from its own ambition
As the first officially licensed F1 management game in over 20 years, the F1 Manager series was destined for big success. Sadly however that hasn’t been the case, with Frontier Developments being forced to lay off staff as a result. So what’s gone wrong?
As it turns out, F1 Manager suffers from its own ambition. What makes the series stand out is also what’s holding it back from being even greater. With the series’ license due for renewal after 2025, we might have to wait a little while longer for the next F1 management series.
