To build the best team in F1 Manager 2024, you need to hire the best drivers. F1 Manager 24 allows you to hire staff members in multiple departments, but nothing is as important as having the fastest drivers in the car.
We've been enjoying F1 Manager 2024 and Frontier Developments has updated the driver roster for F1 Manager 24 to reflect the current state of Formula 1.
New young stars have emerged and the performances of the F1 drivers in 2023 have helped shaped the 2024 driver ratings. Here's the full list of driver ratings in F1 Manager 2024.
F1 Manager 2024 Driver Ratings
F1 Manager has the most in-depth rating system for its drivers on the market. For 2024, further refinements have made the ratings even accurate than before. Each driver has an overall rating determined via ten attributes.
These attribute stats are the following: Cornering, Braking, Reactions, Accuracy, Control, Smoothness, Adaptability, Overtaking, Defending, and Aggression.
Each driver also has a development rate too, which determines how quickly or slowly they improve as time passes in Formula 1.
On top of the 20 drivers in Formula 1, there's also a raft of development and reserve drivers included in the pool of drivers.
You'll also get some randomly-generated drivers to choose from in addition to these.

The Best of the Best
We'll start by going through the best drivers in the game when you start a save. Unsurprisingly, the best driver in the game is the triple-world champion Max Verstappen, whose 92 overall is the outright best in F1 Manager 2024.
Both Sir Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso are next on 90 overall. With both of them in the latter stages of their careers though, they'll do well to hold that rating for more than a couple seasons.
On the younger side of things, Lando Norris (24) has an overall of 88, thanks in part to his excellent start to the 2024 season. His McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri (22) is also highly rated at 84 after an excellent rookie season in 2023.
Future Stars
F1 Manager 2024 also includes drivers from outside of F1 and these are some of the best young motorsport talents competing in Formula 2 and IndyCar.
Liam Lawson made a cameo series of appearances in 2023 and impressed so much that he's higher-rated than Logan Sargent with 79 overall.
Also on 79 is Theo Pourchaire, the Sauber youngest and current F2 champion. Pourchaire has been competing for McLaren in IndyCar in 2024.
The youngest driver in the F1 Manager 2024 field is Andrea Kimi Antonelli at just 17 years of age. The Italian driver competes in F2 for Prema and is affiliated with Mercedes.
Are there any surprises?
Nico Hulkenberg being as low as 83 is surprising given how excellent he's been for Haas so far in 2024.
Sergio Perez can also count himself lucky to be as high as 86, despite his poor performances recently after signing a contract extension with Red Bull Racing.
Aside from that, we think that Frontier are on the money when it comes to its driver ratings. As usual, they've done a standout job with their research to create an accurate and in-depth simulation of the real-life world.
