Rejoice, racing game fans, as Formula Legends, a 3DClouds open-wheel sim-cade Formula game, is coming to a gaming platform near you on September 18th. The release date has just been announced by 3DClouds, who also premiered a new trailer for the game.
But that's not all, a Formula Legends new demo is also coming, with plenty of new features, and all of the games' supported platforms were also disclosed.
Formula Legends Release Date & Platforms Revealed

The Formula Legends worldwide release date takes place on September 18th, with the game coming for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
3DClouds' goal is to deliver a game with an "arcade-like approachability" with "plenty of optional driving assists", but that still allows "anyone to have a good time regardless of their skill level". Developers worked hard on features such as fuel consumption, tyre wear, track evolution, and unique racing conditions, things that impact real-life formula races.
That's why it's called a sim-cade, as it mixes elements from traditional simulation racing games, with features like the ones mentioned above, while also having an arcade-like feeling, which, according to the developers, will make the game "challenging, unpredictable, and fun".
New Formula Legends Demo is Live!

If you can't wait for the official release date, then you will be glad to know that a new Formula Legends demo hits the tracks on August 6th! This new demo introduces many new features as well as plenty of fixes and improvements, many of which were implemented due to community feedback.
The two biggest additions to the Formula Legends demo are improved handling and AI. The braking system is now sharper and more responsive, while the handling input delay was significantly reduced, making it more responsive as well. At the same time, AI will now give players an even better run for their money, creating more exciting and immersive races.
Here are all the changes introduced in the upcoming Formula Legends demo:
- Two Game Modes – Custom Race and Time Attack
- Two Tracks – Belgium and Hungary (Classic and Modern variants)
- Three Iconic Racing Eras – Mid ‘70s, Early ‘90s, Mid ‘20s (each era is accompanied with a full set of cars, teams and drivers specific to the time).
- New Extreme Weather - Races can now be conducted in sunny, overcast, wet and stormy conditions to provide additional challenge.
- Fully Customizable Gameplay – Select opponent difficulty, drive assists, qualifying format, race rules, duration and more options to suit your play style.
- New Camera Modes – 3DClouds has added multiple new behind the rear wing camera options and based on overwhelming demand from fans a new cockpit cam which makes racing more intense than ever.
