Even though Forza Motorsport is stealing the limelight, Forza Horizon 5 updates are showing no signs of slowing down. With the Horizon Creatives Series wrapping up, Forza Horizon’s next update celebrates Dia de Muertos, Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival.

Unveiled during this month's Let’s ¡Go! stream, Forza Horizon 5 Dia de Muertos brings nine new cars along with new decorations, EventLab props, achievements, and more.

Forza Horizon 5's most requested car coming in next update

No Forza Horizon 5 Series update would be complete without some shiny new cars to drive, and Dia de Muertos doesn’t disappoint. Five new cars can be unlocked in festival playlist challenges.

The most notable is the 2010 Nissan Tsuru. It may not seem particularly desirable, but the Tsuru is “the most requested car in Forza’s history” according to Playground Games.

One of the most popular cars in Mexico, the Tsuru was missing in Forza Horizon 5 at launch. The reason for this is simply because Playground Games struggled to source a pristine model to scan.

There was even an online petition to get the car in the game that reached 36,000 signatures. It was also the community’s most requested car to date in the Suggestions Hub with over 4,000 votes.

In real life, the Tsuru is Mexico's most common taxi car. Because of this, new car parts will let you turn the Tsuru into a taxi in Forza Horizon 5.

The 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso is a Series Progress reward for reaching 80 points alongside the 2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo (160 points).
