Today marks the start of the new 1980s-inspired Horizon Retrowave series, which covers the Horizon festival in neon. As always, a new playlist brings plenty of challenges to complete and exciting cars to win.
Here are all the rewards you can win in the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Retrowave Summer Festival Playlist.
Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Retrowave Summer
The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Retrowave Summer Festival playlist begins on Thursday May 23 at 3:30 pm BST / 9:30 am ET.
You then have one week to collect as many rewards as possible until Thursday May 30 at 3:30 pm BST / 9:30 am ET.
Reward cars
This week’s season progress rewards are the 2021 Lamborghini Countach (20 points) and Ferrari 512TR (40 points).
Elsewhere, completing The Trial event unlocks the Lamborghini Countach. Winning the Seasonal Championships unlocks the 1987 Nissan GTS-R and the 1992 Honda NSX-R.
You can also win the usual Super Wheelspins for a chance to win more exotic cars.
Expansion rewards
In the expansion rewards, Rally Adventure players can win the Opel Manta 400, while Hot Wheels players can get the Plymouth Cuda. Both are rewarded for completing the respective Seasonal Championships.
You can also pick up some Super Wheelspins in the Rally Adventure and Hot Wheels Danger Signs.
Photo Challenge: #MyFairLady
This week’s #MyFairLady Photo Challenge asks players to photograph the 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo at Tulum.
Completing the #MyFairLady Photo Challenge unlocks the Retrowave Outfit clothing item for your Avatar.
Treasure Hunt: Near Misfortune
The neon-soaked Retrowave kicks off with the Near Misfortune Treasure Hunt.
The clue for the Near Misfortune Treasure Hunt is: "Driving close to traffic may be daunting, but on the highway this challenge is rewarding."
