The Horizon Festival has been taken over by neon, with the Horizon Retrowave throwing us back to the 1980s. The first Treasure Hunt of this new series tasks us with making some close calls down the main highway in Forza Horizon 5.
Let's take a look at how to complete the Near Misfortune Treasure Hunt!
How to complete Forza Horizon 5's Near Misfortune Treasure Hunt
The clue for this week's Treasure Hunt is: "Driving close to traffic may be daunting, but on the highway this challenge is rewarding." This means we're racking up the near-miss Skills along the newly neon-soaked Horizon highway.
Hop in your favorite car and head to the highway. For the best result, we recommend starting at the western end and heading east. Of course, the goal is to get as close as possible without touching other vehicles, so be brave and go for it!
Once you've reached the required number of near-miss Skills (you only need one), the location of the treasure chest will be revealed. This week's chest can be found on a farm just north of the Gran Puente Bridge.
You can see the exact location on the map below:
Smash the chest, and you'll receive 100,000 Credits.
Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Retrowave Summer
The Horizon Festival is a neon paradise in the Horizon Retrowave Summer series. There are plenty of challenges to complete and cars to win. This week’s season progress rewards are the 2021 Lamborghini Countach (20 points) and Ferrari 512TR (40 points).
Elsewhere, players can get their hands on the Lamborghini Countach for completing the Trial, while winning the Seasonal Championships unlocks the 1987 Nissan GTS-R and the 1992 Honda NSX-R.
There's also the #MyFairLady Photo Challenge to complete, which tasks players with snapping the 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo at Tulum.
