A new Forza Horizon 5 series is here, and with it comes a fresh set of challenges and new shiny cars to add to your garage. Let’s find out what’s in store for players in the Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive Summer Festival Playlist.
Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive Summer
The Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive Summer season starts on 02 February at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET and ends on 9 February at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET.
As the name implies, the Japanese Automotive series celebrates all things JDM, with several iconic Japanese motors making their Forza debut along while others return from past Forza Horizon games.
Reward cars
In total, six new cars can be won in the Japanese Automotive Summer Festival Playlist.
For 20 points, the all-new 2023 Nissan Z sports car stars in the Japanese Automotive Summer Festival Playlist as a Season Progress reward car. Rack up 40 points, and the Toyota AT38 pickup is also yours.
As always, more cars can be won by completing seasonal challenges. Famous for being the hero car in Initial D, the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex ’85 can be earned by completing The Trial.
Conquering the Seasonal Championships also unlocks the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR ’04 and Nissan GT-R '17.
If you own the Hot Wheels expansion, the Honda Civic RS ’74 hot hatch is a bonus car for completing the Hot Wheels championship. You can also win several Super Wheelspins.
Photo Challenge - #HearMeRoar
The first Photo Challenge in the Japanese Automotive series requires you to photograph any Toyota or Lexus next to the stone lanterns in Ek' Balam. Doing this rewards you with the Tiger Roar car horn.
Treasure Hunt – Star of Arion
Treasure Hunts return this week giving you the following clue to solve: “Take your starion for a ride and speed past the traffic.”
If you want to reap the rewards, our Star of Arion Treasure Hunt guide has you covered.
