It’s that time again: this week marks the start of a new series in Forza Horizon 5.
During July's Forza Monthly showcase event, Playground Games has previewed everything we can look forward to in Forza Horizon 5 Series 10.
Forza Horizon 5 Series 10 – Extreme E
Forza Horizon 5 Series 10 kicks off on 21 July – just a few days after the Hot Wheels expansion launches.
With it comes the debut of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series in Forza Horizon 5. Encouraging sustainability, Extreme E races take place around the world and use identical high-performance off-road buggies.
In Forza Horizon 5 Series 10, you’ll be racing the Extreme E Odyssey 21 e-SUV in Dirt and Cross Country races, showcased in the Forza Monthly event tackling the dirt. With a 470kW (roughly 550 hp) battery produced by Williams Advanced Engineering, a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, and a 911 suspension system, the Odyssey 21 is built for off-road racing.
The electric off-roader can be yours for 700,000 credits at the AutoShow, or you can win it by completing Series 10 Festival Playlist challenges. There are ten Odyssey 21 variants to unlock in Series 10, each representing a different Extreme E team.
Each season in the Series 10 Festival Playlist is inspired by real-world Extreme E locations. You'll be racing along the east coast by Playa Azul in the Summer "Island X Prix" season and through the city of Guanajuato in the "Energy X Prix" Autumn Season. Winter's “Copper X Prix” takes place in Copper Canyon while the final Spring "Desert X Prix" has you racing through Baja in Dunas Blancas.
