Winter is here in Forza Horizon 5 Series 9. As always, a new season means a new Festival Playlist is launching today with a new selection of challenges and reward cars for revisiting players.

Series 9 Winter
The new Forza Horizon 5 season starts at 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET today. Headlining this week’s Festival Playlist are two Season Progress cars.
The 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee can be yours at 20 points, while the Zenvo ST1 Danish supercar is your season reward at 40 points.
Reward cars
Additionally, there are five reward cars to earn for completing Seasonal Events and Challenges. The 1971 Ford Mustang muscle car is the reward for completing The Trial, while the EventLab earns you the 2017 Acura NSX.
Completing this week’s Horizon Open by earning 20 Drift or E-Drift Skills in any Horizon Open Event will get you the classic 1971 Nissan GT-R. Finally, there are two Seasonal Championship reward cars with an off-roading theme: the Hummer H1 and #11 Ford F-150 racing truck.
There are also three Super Wheelspins for a chance to win new Hot Wheels cars. Some of these will also feature in the upcoming Hot Wheels expansion.

Forzathon Weekly Challenge
This week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge is called Real Rider and revolves around the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5023. All you need to do to complete Chapter 1 is own and drive the Unimog. Chapter 2 tasks you with winning a Cross-Country event.
For Chapter 3, you need to earn 1 Star on the Barranco Trailblazer with the Unimog to test its agility. Lastly, you then need to earn 10 Ultimate Wreckage Skills with the Unimog, using its heft to smash into the scenery.
Photo Challenge
For this week’s Photo Challenge, you need to photograph any Hypercar in the Copper Canyon. This unlocks the Horizon Race Gloves clothing item as a reward.
